| The AIA Hong Kong was established in 1997 to serve the professional interests of the growing number of AIA member architects practicing in Hong Kong, China and the Asia Pacific Region.
The objectives of this Chapter are to uphold the quality of design, education and professional practice among its members as well as to promote the importance of architecture in society. For 2010 the Chapter’s focus is sustainability. In addition, the AIA Hong Kong serves to foster stronger ties between the American Institute of Architects and other professional organizations in Asia; with over 250 members, it is now the largest International Chapter.
